friday...

last friday there was no school so kathy, seth and i dropped sophie off at chloe's school. chloe gave her a trim and a lighter color. looks great. larry picked her up on his way home from work. after we dropped her off, thethree of us headed to breakfast at burger master. yum!! and then used one of kathy's coupons for this extremely yummy caramel apple bunny on a stick!
 

 

 

 

seth and i tried a new recipe for lunch cookies. they are called swig sugar cookies. dont think we will be making them again, they were just ok.

well, here we go. there is now a sold sign on the house next door. wonder what that will bring.  in other news, seth was back to school today (hopefully well for a while) and it was sunny all day. nice!
 

casino

last month on kathys birthday she and i went up to the casino for a birthday buffet. the view there is gorgeous. i think i brought her bad luck by going as she wasnt a big winner this trip! soon, lisa will be headed to the casino to see "the thunder down under"- a men's strip show from australia. i will be sure to post pics for you peggy from her camera, hehe
 

 

 

 

sophie

sophie went to comicon friday and sunday this weekend. its a convention for comic books, authors, carttons, video games, anime, etc... she dressed up as her favorite character, rose lalonde. we worked all week making her costume. she had such a great time and met lots of kids with the same interest. she met one of her favorite authors and got a picture and autograph from him. what do you think of her as a blonde, haha 

 

 

 

 

We are back!!!

it hasnt been a good day so far. seth got up and got ready for school and then said his head hurt and started throwing up. 101 fever so far. just laying on the couch so far.

i was her practice person on saturday. she colored my hair, then highlighted it with a foil and then gave me a haircut. she did a great job. last week lisa was her model. she had a cut and color also. its so fancy inside and HUGE. fun watching all the different cuts the girls were doing and some outrageous colors!bet you cant wait until she can cut your hair too, hehe 

 

hey, guess what?  the house next door went on the market friday. sunday they held an open house. it was busy but i bet it was all the neighbors being looky-loos.
   they are asking 380,000.00 but the real estate agent thinks 330,000 is more like it

peggy- do you have a pumpkin on your deck?

larry and seth decided to carve pumpkins before the autumn rain hit. it started the very next morning. soph has a pumpkin we will carve with her this weekend if it doesnt rain. and she doesnt have too much homework... i cleaned all the seeds and baked them afterwards. not one of the kids liked them so larry and i at them all ourselves!
